About House Soccer
What age should I register for?
NWAA believes all children should register and play age appropriately. Under our structured curriculum, the coaching staff will be looking for players who are performing at a level that warrants an exception. It is our goal to service each individual player and holding players back from growth and development to keep logistics simple is not fair. If the coaching staff believes a player needs to be moved a conversation about what's in that player's best interest will be had between staff and parents
Do I have to coach?Under our structured programming, there are two levels of coaching. Our certified staff and the volunteers. Certified staff will be responsible for the training sessions and to ensure all players receive the very best training and education we can provide while adhering to our professionally developed curriculum. NWAA will also have a certified staff monitoring games. This is important to make sure our standards of sportsmanship and development are being prioritized. Our volunteer staff will consists of parents and/or interested coaches. They will be invited to attend and help during the training sessions. On game days, the volunteer staff will be managing the players directly. It is the belief of NWAA that games should be focused on the players and their decision making rather than winning. Coaches on game days are there to facilitate a good experience for the players and to make sure each player participates the same amount.

What will my child learn? Each age level will bring a different approach, curriculum, environment at games and in training. What's appropriate for a 5 year old is not necessarily appropriate for a 9 year old. All of our program is developmentally appropriate and derives from the professionally developed curriculum.
